Map Reveals Where Gas is Cheapest and Most Expensive in Florida Right Now
As Fourth of July travel plans ramp up, a new update from AAA shows Florida drivers may catch a bit of a break at the pump—depending on where they live.
According to AAA’s fuel data released June 27, 2025, Florida’s average price for regular gas sits just under $3, at $2.999 per gallon, noticeably lower than the national average of $3.207. But prices vary sharply by region, with some counties paying nearly 40 cents more than others.
AAA’s interactive gas price map breaks down average retail prices by county. Currently:
- The highest averages range from $3.236 to $3.089
- The lowest averages fall between $2.939 and $2.851
The map, which updates daily, gives Floridians a better look at local pump prices—and it comes at a crucial time. AAA’s latest travel forecast suggests a busy holiday weekend is ahead, and with temperatures climbing, lower gas prices may offer some relief to road-trippers.
