Looking to add a little adrenaline to your spooky season plans? Pinecrest is serving up the perfect thrill—zombie chases included, but no risk of actually getting eaten.
The Pinecrest Zombie Run is set to take place on Saturday, October 18, 2025, turning Evelyn Greer Park into ground zero for a spooky, high-energy evening. Hosted by the Village of Pinecrest in partnership with Baptist Health, the night kicks off with check-in at 4:30p.m. At 6:00p.m. sharp, the 2-mile run begins—sending participants dashing through a course where volunteer “zombies” will be hot on their heels.
In addition to being chase by zombies, a 40-foot zombie maze dares the brave to navigate its twists and turns. Live music will keep the energy up, and a photo booth captures all the costumed chaos. Participants are encouraged to come dressed in their Halloween best, and those who are early will receive a commemorative t-shirt (while supplies last).
Early bird registration is $20 through September 8, increasing to $25 through October 17. On-site registration will be available for $30.
Parking will be available at Evelyn Greer Park, with overflow lots and shuttle service running from the Village Municipal Center and Suniland Park.
The event is part of FitCrest, Pinecrest’s year-round initiative promoting fitness, fun, and community spirit. Rain or shine, the zombies are coming—will you be ready to outrun them?
